Partnerships with Business
Many formerly incarcerated individuals are often overlooked because of their mistakes. Hiring a person who has made a mistake and served their time can be the difference between being rearrested and having a meaningful career and enhance their personal relationships, particularly for non-violent offenders, both at home and in the community.
Life Skills Prison Ministry endeavors to partner with organizations and staffing firms dedicated to the well-being of their community through hiring formerly incarcerated individuals. Second-chance hiring is an effective tool in reducing recidivism and provides an environment for continued personal growth so that they can develop meaningful professional skills that lay the foundation for sustained employment and education.
